Malta Café Scientifique 2019/20: Electromagnetic Wellbeing
13 May @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm| Free
Date and Time: Wednesday, 13 May 2020, 7:30pm
Venue: Studio B, Spazju Kreattiv
Electromagnetic imaging offers a very attractive alternative to the current diagnostic methods and used in health care, because it is lower in cost and is mostly non-invasive. These methods can be applied to many areas, from brain monitoring to breast imaging. Electromagnetic images can also be used to treat various diseases, such as lung or liver cancer. Join Dr Farrugia as she explored all the benefits and application of this revolutionary technology, in all of its uses.
Malta Café Scientifique presents Dr. Lourdes Farrugia, who will be discussing a possible solution to the growing costs of healthcare: electromagnetic imaging and therapeutics.
Malta Café Scientifique thanks the STEAM project, Spazju Kreattiv for hosting this event, the University of Malta, and Malta Chamber of Scientists (of which the café forms part).
