Since the fall of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011, the country has had nine governments. Every new attempt to hold elections sparks civil war. As Africa’s fourth biggest oil producer, the country has roused wide interest. Its chronic instability had made Libya a new battlefield for world’s major powers and terrorist groups, raising a key question : who is sowing chaos in this country ?

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film director. Kamal Redouani is senior reporter, specialist of the Arab world and regularly collaborates with France Télévisions, Canal+ and Arte. After interviewing jihadist leaders and witnesses of the war in Iraq and Syria, he wrote the best-seller “Inside Daech” (2016). He produced multi-awarded documentaries about the uprise of violence in Libya, Syria and Iraq, regularly screened on French TV.
