During the Action Planet exhibition there will be a guided tour around the exhibition and 2 inspiring workshops offered for schools. The first workshop will invite students to learn more about waste management in Malta – how the systems work behind the scenes and what their recycling can be transformed into.  This workshop will inspire them to see “waste” as “resources” and will teach them how to make simple, yet important changes to make more conscious sustainable choices in their everyday lives.

The second workshop will give students an overview of the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These goals were developed as a 15 year plan for all participating countries and address sustainability from a broader, global perspective. They focus not only environmental concerns but also socio-economic such as poverty, gender equality and education.

The workshops have been developed by Wasteserv, Esplora, Kopin, SOS Malta, Global Green Events and Action Planet.

The workshops are offered for children 7+
